If you’re an athlete and want to lose some unwanted weight, then nothing to worry about. This diet plan will not affect your muscle tone. You’ll be able to stay in the game, stress-free.

Word of caution though, you must keep in mind that you will be giving your body exposure to a certain level of increased mercury. It is important to know how much of it you should take in accordance with your weight.

How Does It Work?

This diet is unlike a year-round or a monthly plan. The tuna diet is only meant to be followed for three days. That’s 72 hours. Still sounds plausible? Haha! In all honesty, the results will be spellbound! Since the tuna diet hardly covers the bare minimum of a necessary calorie count, our body tends to go into ketosis. Ketosis is the increase of ketones in our stomach. This increase in ketones decreases the water weight.

Day One

Breakfast

Lunch

Day Two

Lunch

Any liquid that you like. We prefer you chose water for this time of the day. A slice of toast with one hard-boiled egg. Finish the sitting off with a small apple.

Dinner

 A glass of water. Half a cup of steamed or boiled carrots and broccoli. Two hot dogs, prepared through water boil. For the addition of fruit, have one banana (others recommend half of a banana). End the night with two scoops (should measure out to be half a cup) of vanilla ice cream.

Day Three

Breakfast

Regular tea or coffee. One egg cooked to your preferences (may be substituted with one slice of cheddar cheese). A four-ounce glass of fresh apple juice. Five saltine crackers

Lunch

Water or tea. A cup of cottage cheese paired with five saltine crackers.

Dinner

A glass of water. A cup of water-packed tuna.  A cup of boiled beets with a cup of steamed cauliflower. For fruit, go with a cup of cantaloupe or if that’s not available one small apple is the perfect alternative pick. Lastly, half a cup of vanilla ice cream

Celebrate the last night of your three-day tuna diet by doing a little victory dance!

Remember: After the completion of your three-day diet tuna, you are required to stick to a low-calorie diet in order to not regain the weight we worked so hard losing.

Usage

Take an adequate amount of chickpea flour and mix a few drops of water to make a paste. Now, either use the paste as a cleanser and scrub your face gently. If you’re going for target treatment, simply apply a generous amount of it on the pimple.

The thicker the blob the more time it will take to dry off. It’s best to wait for it to dry fully so that the chickpea flour magnetically sucks out all the gunk from your skin. Use lukewarm water to remove. Continue with the rest of your routine and in the morning you’ll notice a massive showdown in the swelling and the redness. Repeat till the pimples dies out.

Grapeseed

Known as Vitis vinifera in the world of botany, grapeseed is very beneficial for treating acne.  The extract is taken out from the seeds of this plant.   •  Lemongrass Essential Oil — 7 Drops

How To Go About It

Melt the beeswax over a double boiler. Make sure you don’t bring this to a boil. Stir constantly. Once that’s melted and has obtained a liquid state, remove it from heat. Now, add the shea butter and coconut oil. The mixture will still be warm enough to take your shea butter and coconut oil to a liquid state. Have all of these well-blended and then finally add in your essential oils.

Pour the blend into a container with a lid. Leave it to naturally solidify. It will take up to 30-45 minutes to harden. You can always pop it in the fridge if you’re in a hurry, though. Once it hardens, you have yourself an amazing DIY beard balm, ready to use.

Use this balm for deep conditioning days or when you just want your beard to smell good! When you deep condition, you will have to follow up with a wash. And, if you just run your fingers through it (for the smell) you leave it at that.
