Things you will need:
- 1/4 cup aloe vera gel
- 20 drops germ destroyer essential oil.
Just add all the ingredients in a container and store it. Use as required in order to naturally remove germs from your hands.
Strong Hand Sanitizer
If you want a strong sanitizer that works like a commercial one then try this recipe. This might be good for your personal use if you are working in a hospital.
Things you require:
- 1 tablespoon rubbing alcohol
- Half teaspoon vegetable glycerine
- 1/4 cup aloe vera gel
- 10 drops cinnamon essential oil
- 10 drops tea tree essential oil
- Distilled water
- Other essential oil, whatever you like for scent.
First mix aloe vera gel, glycerine, and rubbing alcohol in a bowl. Next, add tea tree oil, cinnamon essential oil and a few drops of any other essential oil just for the scent.
Mix the ingredients properly and add distilled water to it & thin the mixture to desired consistency. Next, use a small funnel in order to transfer hand sanitizer into a bottle. Hand sanitizer is ready to use.
Natural Recipe
You can make a natural hand sanitizer with no strong smell. Vitamin E oil helps to soften hands and will extend the shelf life up to 3 to 4 months. The sanitizer should be discarded after 6 to 9 months, in either case.
For this you will need:
- 1 cup aloe vera gel
- 2 tbsp witch hazel
- 30 drops tea tree oil
- 5-10 drops essential oil
- 1/2 tsp vitamin E oil
- Squeeze tubes or bottles
First, add vitamin E oil and the essential oils in a small bowl and stir. Then add the witch hazel and shake again. In the end, add aloe vera gel and mix properly. Pour the mixture in a container using a funnel. Shake well before use.
