This way of travelling is expensive as the taxi drivers will extract a lot of money from you so you need to try to negotiate the price before getting it hired. The taxi will pick you from your hotel and you do not need to go anywhere, you can hire a big taxi or a small depending on the number of people and your luggage.
Take A V-Hire or Jeepney
This is a public van service which actually takes around 12 passengers from the Cebu City to Hagnaya port. However, sometimes some drivers overcrowd the van and you may face discomfort journey of 3 to 4 hours. This is not very much preferable because instead of travelling through the van it is better to take the bus or maybe hire a taxi to make the trip smooth and easy for you so you can enjoy it at your best. Travelling in peace is very much necessary.

Once you reach the Hagnaya port by means of the bus, van or a private taxi. Now in order to travel to Bantayan island you need to take a ferry.
